What comes with my HMT-1® device?
How do I know that my HMT-1® is charging properly?
The power button LED light will blink throughout the charging cycle, changing color from red to green.
If you do not see this progression:
My HMT-1® won’t turn on.
Before your first use, make sure to fully charge the device using the power cable provided. The power light will turn green once the device is fully charged.
After the device is fully charged, press the power button for 10 seconds to turn on the device. Listen for the audible feedback. If you do not hear this feedback, and the device is fully charged, please contact our Customer Support team.
Where can I find the Realwear Companion App?
Download the RealWear Companion app to your smartphone (iOS or Android) using the QR Code provided or through your smartphone app library.
My HMT-1® won’t connect to my Wi-Fi.
Select from the following options to reconfigure your device.
Web Configuration Tool:
FIRST TIME SETUP will allow you to set a language, date and time, and input Wi-Fi credentials.
If entered correctly, your RealWear HMT-1® device will be connected to Wi-Fi.
RealWear Companion App:
If entered correctly, your RealWear HMT-1® device will be connected to Wi-Fi.
Speech Keyboard:
Once your password has been entered correctly, your HMT-1® device will be connected to Wi-Fi.
How do I navigate to different views within this system?
The user interface is designed for “Say What You See” control. The interactive buttons labeled in all caps are the actual voice commands to open that view within the system.
